Glencore Australia’s Hunter Valley Operations (HVO) seeks a Drill & Blast Engineer to join the Technical Services team. The role focuses on safe, efficient blasting processes and continuous improvement on site.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise to improve and optimise drill & blast processes on site.
• Produce designs that promote the safe and efficient mining of waste & coal
• Engagement within Tech Services and External stakeholders
• Apply and improve quality control processes for all drill & blast activities
• Understanding and focus on environmental restrictions
• Design and analyse blasting performance throughout the mining cycle
• Ad hoc project work and implementation of new drill & blast technologies
