HMR is a national contractor providing underground and surface drilling, mining and raiseboring services to clients across Australia.

We are currently seeking Surface and Underground Diamond Drill Assistants to join our team for work in Western Australia.

If you are a highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter, we want to hear from you! These roles are full-time positions based on long-term contracts.

The Role

• 7/7 and 14/7 rosters
• Residential Kalgoorlie or FIFO Perth
• Underground and surface work available
• Full-time permanent positions
• No experience required – on-the-job training

Requirements of the role

• Assisting the Driller to provide quality diamond core
• High level of manual handling
• Conduct pre-start inspections and safety checks
• Contribute to safety and productivity improvements
• The ability to meet pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening, medical and police clearance is required.
• Fit, healthy and motivated
• Underground - Current Manual Driver’s License
• Australian or NZ residents - Full working rights in Australia
