Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Perth is seeking a Drainage and Waterways Engineer at all levels to join our Bridges, Aviation and Roads team.

You will design innovative drainage systems for major civil infrastructure projects, lead design elements, and collaborate with discipline leads across large-scale programs to deliver high-quality reports and drawings. The role offers growth in a digitally enabled environment with OpenRoads, 12D and other tools.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's).
• 3-15 years' experience in drainage design, preferably for transport infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Austroads guidelines, Main Roads WA standards and PTA standards is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with stormwater and drainage design (open channels, culverts, pits and piping).
• Proficiency with OpenRoads, 12D, DRAINS, MUSIC; familiarity with TUFLOW or HECRAS is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative drainage systems for civil infrastructure projects.
• Lead and coordinate design elements to meet project goals and client expectations.
• Partner with discipline leads on large-scale projects and take ownership of deliverables.
• Produce high-quality design reports, models and drawing packages.
