Draftsperson – Cabinet Vision Expert | High-End Bespoke Joinery

At Mint Designer Kitchens, we design and manufacture bespoke, high-end kitchens and joinery for discerning clients who value detail, function, and flawless execution. Our team of skilled designers, cabinetmakers, and installers work together under one roof to deliver some of the Gold Coast’s most beautiful custom kitchens – and we’re growing.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Draftsperson who is confident with Cabinet Vision (minimum 5 years’ experience) and understands the end-to-end flow of custom joinery – from concept, to manufacturing, to install.

This is not your average drafting role. You’ll be hands-on with complex design briefs, liaising directly with our designers and factory floor, and preparing files that speak fluently to our CNC machinery. You’ll help us maintain our reputation for delivering precision-built cabinetry with smooth site execution and minimal rework.

What You’ll Do:

Draft high-end kitchens and custom joinery using Cabinet Vision, producing accurate 3D models, cut lists, and machining files.

Collaborate with designers to interpret detailed plans and bring them into manufacturable reality.

Prepare accurate job files ready for CNC output and oversee the pre-production process to ensure seamless factory handover.

Liaise with the workshop to ensure clarity between drawing and construction, including edge details, shadow lines, appliance integration, and hardware specification.

Participate in quality checks and pre-production meetings to ensure project success.

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years’ experience using Cabinet Vision, preferably in high-end residential or architectural joinery.

Deep understanding of Australian cabinetmaking standards, materials, and construction methods (e.g. carcass construction, drawer systems, integrated panels, and benchtop detailing).

Experience preparing files for CNC, including G-code generation and machine setup.

Knowledge of Blum, Hafele, or similar hardware systems.

A strong eye for detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach.

Excellent communication and time management skills.

The Role:

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm

Location: Gold Coast, Queensland

Salary: Negotiable based on experience – we pay well for the right skillset.
