Job summary

Deacon Recruitment is seeking an experienced residential Draftsperson for a hands-on role on the Gold Coast. The position focuses on creating sitings, floor plans, elevations and sales plans, and advancing full working drawings through construction.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 4 years in residential drafting, with custom-build experience highly regarded and NSW experience advantageous. Strong problem solving and a keen eye for detail are essential.

Our client is an established 40 years builder, highly respected and specialising in new home builds across QLD and NSW. Backed by continued growth and a strong pipeline, the business is entering an exciting next phase.

About the Position

Due to growth, a position has been created for an experienced Draftsperson to join the team in a broad role!

Responsibilities

• Prepare sitings, floor plans, elevations and sales plans
• Preparing full working drawings through construction phase
• Review custom and complex jobs
• Assist with new designs and master plans

The successful candidate

Our ideal candidate will be a highly experienced residential draftsperson and will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Minimum 4 years residential drafting experience
• Custom build experience highly regarded
• NSW experience advantageous
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
