Job summary

Consolidated Power Projects Australia seeks an experienced Drafter - Civil to join our national in-house design team in Adelaide. You will create accurate 2D civil drawings for renewable energy and utility projects, partnering with engineers to ensure constructible, compliant packages.

You will use AutoCAD or Microstation to deliver clear documentation that supports on-site construction and project delivery across Australia.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years drafting experience in civil design drafting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation.
  • Solid understanding of Australian civil design standards and best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce clear, accurate docs.
  • Strong communication and collaborative project delivery.

The Opportunity

CPP are seeking an experienced Drafter- Civilto join our collaborative, national in-house design team. If you're passionate about creating accurate, buildable civil designs for real-world infrastructure projects, this is your chance to make a meaningful and visible impact on Australia’s energy future.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality, 2D, practical design drawings for high-voltage and renewable infrastructure projects across the country. You’ll work closely with civil engineers to interpret design concepts and transform them into constructible, compliant design packages.

This is a hands-on drafting role where your attention to detail and technical expertise will directly influence the success of major energy projects. You’ll use software such as AutoCAD and Microstation to deliver clear, well-structured documentation that supports construction teams on site.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Drafting experience (3+ years) in civil design drafting, preferably in energy, infrastructure, mining, defence or utilities
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation
  • Solid understanding of Australian civil design standards and best practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce clear, accurate, and well-structured documentation
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to project delivery
