Job summary

The Blackwater open cut coal mine in Queensland is seeking a Dozer Push Operator to join the Production Department. You will operate CAT D10 and D11 dozers in a high‑pressure production mining environment to support meeting daily targets.

Camp accommodation is provided. You must hold a current Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical, a valid driver's license, and the right to work in Australia. This role requires a strong safety focus and commitment to operating standards.

• Current Training Transcript or LMS record demonstrating competency.

Job description

The Blackwater open cut coal mine is one of the largest producing metallurgical coal mines in Queensland. It is situated 73 kilometres south east of Emerald, on the traditional lands of the Gaangalu people. Operating since 1967, the Blackwater mine has a strike length of 80 kilometres and is one of nine metallurgical coal mines in Queensland’s Bowen Basin.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be working as a Dozer Push Operator within the Production Department at Blackwater Mine, supporting coal mining operations and production targets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Operating CAT D10 & D11 Dozers in a production mining environment

Conducting bulk push operations safely and efficiently

What You Will Need

Proven experience operating CAT D10 & D11 Dozers in a production mining environment

Current Training Transcript or LMS record demonstrating competency

Current Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical

Current Driver's Licence

Valid Right to Work in Australia

Strong commitment to safety and operational standards
