Job summary

Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) is seeking a Domestic team member to join Goonoo. The role covers housekeeping for staff and guest facilities, including cleaning, linen changes, and kitchen support at the Goonoo site.

You will work in a hands-on environment with a focus on safety, service quality and flexibility to meet daily demands. Experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred, with strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality or support roles.
• Understanding of WHS/OHS practices in an operational environment.
• Must have First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and manage daily/weekly workloads.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of accommodation, guest facilities and grounds.
• Service guest accommodation, including linen changes.
• Clean and maintain air conditioning units and communal facilities.
• Complete general cleaning tasks (vacuuming, mopping, rubbish removal).
• Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Support kitchen cleaning, dishwashing, and hygiene standards.
• Unpack, store and manage food and grocery supplies.
• Prepare basic meals for staff and guests as required.

We are looking for a Domestic to join the team at Goonoo. Goonoo Feedlot & Station is situated in the Central Highlands of Queensland, 65km southeast of Emerald, and is a specialised Wagyu feedlot & backgrounding operation, feeding 45,000 head of Wagyu cattle for both international and domestic markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping, hospitality, or support role.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS/OHS) practices in an operational environment.
• Current First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage daily and weekly workloads.
• Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
