Job Title: Document Controller and Project Coordinator

Visy is powering the circular economy, closing the loop between packaging, remanufacturing, and recycling. Over 75 years, we\'ve grown to 7,000 employees and 150 global operations – predominately in Australia and New Zealand.

We believe materials are not recycled until they’ve been made into new products. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics, and metals from households and businesses and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging. From cardboard boxes, water bottles, and jam jars to food and beverage cans, we are using recycled content to power Australia and New Zealand’s food and beverage packaging industry.

This role will be a team member of the National Drafting Department (NDD) to provide document control across all Visy’s businesses for existing facilities and new greenfield projects and software support. Full time office-based role on site in our Coolaroo operations.

What you'll do:

• Support and manage the flow of documentation through Drafting/Engineering groups and plants/sites with drawings and documents throughout all of VISY Facilities.
• Maintain and Enhance the Document Management Software.
• Assist in engaging with Vendors to obtain Quotes
• Create and maintain Autodesk Plant 3D catalogues (After appropriate training is completed)
• Prepare document reports monthly.
• Ensure all internal and external drawings are version controlled throughout their lifecycle.
• Be the point of contact for the NDD to report all IT issues to IT.
• Drive and implement any new software across both NDD and Engineering teams.

What you will bring to the team:

• Proficiency in document management software, such as Autodesk Products Vault and Autodesk Construction Cloud (highly recommended). Also, proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint & Commnia highly valued.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to self-prioritize workload through effective communication with requestors from other departments.
• Exceptional attention to detail, crucial for ensuring documents are accurately entered into the system and promptly sent to other parties.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Flexibility with workload commitments in an ever-changing environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for document control.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, essential for daily tasks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with VISY IT, external IT support, and other VISY business units.
• Ability to learn, process and work with scanning equipment and software to produce accurate Point Clouds, Meshes and 3D Models.
• Willingness to learn.
