Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie is seeking a Divisional Business Manager to join our Finance Business Partnering team in Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne on a permanent basis.

You will support the financial performance of our Litigation, Investigations and Advisory division across the APAC region and serve as the primary finance business partner to APAC Practice Heads, delivering financial analysis and commercial guidance.

• Commercially minded with the ability to translate financial analysis into practical recommendations.
• Effective business partner with the ability to build trusted relationships with APAC Practice Heads, Partners and other stakeholders.
• Experienced in implementing change, supporting the adoption of new processes and delivering business improvements.
• Comfortable working in a matrix environment, coordinating across APAC teams and managing competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the financial performance, profitability and operational effectiveness of the Litigation, Investigations and Advisory division across the APAC region.
• Act as the primary finance business partner to APAC Practice Heads, providing financial analysis and commercial advice.
• Oversee financial management, pricing and working capital management for the division.
• Support commercial planning and transformation initiatives across APAC.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Divisional Business Manager to join our Finance Business Partnering team in Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne on a permanent basis. This role is responsible for supporting the financial performance, profitability and operational effectiveness of our Litigation, Investigations and Advisory division across the APAC region. This role is the primary finance business partner to our APAC Practice Heads within our Litigation, Investigations and Advisory division and will play a key role in providing financial analysis and commercial advice to support decision making. You will be responsible for financial management, pricing and working capital management, alongside supporting commercial planning and transformation initiatives.
