Job summary

Atom Modular Pty Ltd is seeking a Project & Commercial Manager to run the project division for a fast-growing national modular business in New Gisborne, VIC. You’ll own the job end to end, including site setup, transport, subcontractors, contracts and compliance.

On day one you’ll be hands-on, handling installs, managing the P&L and contracts, delivering projects on time and on budget. As the division grows, you’ll build a team and lead it, shaping the future of the division.

Qualifications

• Experience running project or site management in construction, modular or prefab.
• Ability to read a P&L and keep the job profitable.
• Willingness to be hands-on now and build a team later.

Responsibilities

• The division’s P&L: revenue, cost and margin.
• Delivering installs for both sold and hire-out buildings.
• Running site installs end to end.
• Site logistics: transport, craneage, site prep, service connections, sequencing.
• Picking subcontractors, coordinating them and keeping them to standard.
• Contract admin on head contracts and subcontracts: scope, variations and claims.
• Program and cost control against a budget you own.
• Council, permits and compliance (NCC, Victorian OHS).
• Keeping the client informed through to handover, defects and sign-off.
