Job summary

De La Salle Revesby Heights seeks a Diverse Learning Teacher to inspire students through inclusive, student-centered teaching within a Catholic environment. You will identify diverse learning needs, assist with learning goals and differentiation, and collaborate on IAPs with teachers and stakeholders.

The role requires a tertiary Education qualification and NESA accreditation, WWCC clearance, and a commitment to student wellbeing in a supportive community.

About You

As a Diverse Learning Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You will be able to:

• show tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience in diverse learning, as well as a demonstrated understanding of contemporary learning processes in relation to diverse learning
• assist with the initial identification of students with diverse learning needs
• assist teachers with the development of learning goals and intervention programs, as well as curriculum differentiation
• collaboratively design, implement, modify and evaluate Individual Adjustment Plans (IAPs) with class teachers and other relevant stakeholders
• work with students with IAPs
• contribute to the preparation of NCCD documentation required under legislation
• show strong classroom management & student wellbeing focus
• ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
• a tertiary qualification in Education & NESA accreditation.
