Job summary

Tara Anglican School for Girls, North Parramatta NSW, is inviting applications for four Diverse Learning Teacher’s Aides across Junior and Senior Schools. Commencing Term 1, 2027, these roles are permanent full-time with potential flexible arrangements.

You will work with the Diverse Learning team to support students with a range of learning needs, access the curriculum, collaborate with teachers, foster independence and well-being, and contribute to student progress in a caring, faith-based

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in education, learning support, disability support, or related field.
• Experience with students with diverse learning needs or keen to develop expertise.
• Patient, empathetic, organised and proactive.
• Build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
• Work independently and in a collaborative team.
• Support the Christian ethos and values of Tara Anglican School for Girls.

Responsibilities

• Support students with a range of learning needs within Junior or Senior School classrooms.
• Assist students to access the curriculum and engage confidently in learning.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to implement adjustments and support strategies.
• Encourage student independence, organisation, confidence, and self-advocacy.
• Provide individual and small-group support as required.
• Contribute positively to the wellbeing and academic progress of students.
• Participate as an active member of a supportive and professional learning support team.
