Job summary

Country Fire Authority in Victoria is seeking a District Mechanical Officer (DMO) to undertake mechanical tasks under the guidance of the Officer-in-Charge (OIC). You will maintain fleet assets in line with CFA standards and keep thorough documentation of work performed.

This role requires a Motor Mechanic qualification, a Heavy Rigid licence, and the ability to work safely at incident scenes while rendering assistance (First Aid L2).

Qualifications

• Must hold Motor Mechanic Qualification and a Heavy Rigid Driver Licence.
• Ability to maintain safety at an Incident Scene and render assistance (First Aid L2).

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical tasks under the guidance of the Officer-in-Charge (OIC).
• Ensure fleet assets are maintained to CFA standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed.
• Create electronic Work Orders using CFA software.
