Job summary

Orica in Perth is seeking a Specialist – Distribution to join our distribution team, working Monday to Friday in our office. You will assist with transport planning, stock monitoring and coordinating transfers to ensure safe, on-time deliveries.

This is an exciting role that offers exposure to distributed operations and stakeholder engagement across the business. You will work across distribution administration, scheduling support and specialist activities, helping the team deliver reliable

Qualifications

Experience in scheduling, transportation, distribution, logistics or related operations.
Approximately two years of relevant experience preferred.
Strong Excel/spreadsheet capability; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day transport planning, carrier coordination and freight movements.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate transfers to support reliable supply across distribution sites.
Build relationships with transport providers and internal teams to resolve issues and improve service performance.
Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Distribution teams to plan product movements and align supply with customer demand.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service and reporting while ensuring distribution activities meet compliance requirements.
Step in to support the Distribution Lead during periods of leave to maintain operations and stakeholder engagement.
