Job summary

Workwear Group is seeking a seasoned distribution and warehousing leader to own the Melbourne Airport Distribution Centre. Reporting to the General Manager, Supply & Distribution, you will run a two-shift operation, drive safety, service and productivity, and coach four direct reports to deliver on DIFOT and KPI targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operation of the Melbourne Airport Distribution Centre across inbound, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, dispatch and administration activities.
• Develop, coach and lead four direct reports while fostering a high-performance, accountable workplace culture.
• Drive site performance through DIFOT, KPI delivery and corrective actions as required.
• Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with health, safety and wellbeing requirements.
• Manage workforce planning, labour allocation and operational capacity to meet demand.
• Support uniform tenders on behalf of operations.
• Deliver productivity, quality and inventory accuracy improvements while optimising costs.
• Oversee facilities, equipment and material-handling assets for safe, compliant operations.
• Manage contractor and service-provider relationships to support uninterrupted site operations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
• Lead and embed continuous improvement initiatives for service, safety and efficiency.
