Diageo in Bundaberg is seeking an operational leader to head the distillery team producing the new-make rum for Bundaberg Rum. You will coordinate production, ensure safety, and drive improvements across quality, reliability and efficiency on a large-scale process operation.

Previous experience in distillation is not essential; training will be provided. A strong background in process manufacturing, people leadership and cross-functional collaboration is required to deliver exceptional product

Aufgaben

• Lead day-to-day distillery operations with focus on safety, quality and performance.
• Develop and lead the distillery team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Coordinate production to meet volume and quality targets per site plans.
• Ensure fermentation, distillation and liquid-handling meet standards.
• Monitor performance and work with specialists to resolve issues and improve results.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Utilise data to support decisions and identify improvement opportunities.
• Gain deep understanding of fermentation, distillation and rum production requirements.
