Job summary

Longreach School of Distance Education invites applications for a knowledgeable coach who translates research into practical teaching strategies and supports teachers and aides delivering sessions in students’ homes and communities.

You will work with learners who have learning difficulties and social-emotional needs, fostering high-quality, targeted intervention in a remote education setting across rural Queensland.

Qualifications

• A relevant teaching qualification.
• Current full registration or provisional registration with eligibility for full registration.
• Blue Card exemption issued by Blue Card Services is required.

Responsibilities

• Coach teachers and aides in delivering targeted teaching and interventions.
• Translate research into practical teaching strategies.
• Model and deliver high-quality instruction to remote students.
• Support students with learning difficulties and social-emotional needs.
