Job summary

HD Automotive is seeking a reliable and detail focused Dispatch Pick & Packer to support daily outbound operations in our fast paced auto-parts e-commerce warehouse.

You'll play a key role in accurate picking, careful packing and preparing orders for dispatch while meeting daily pick rate targets. This role suits someone who thrives under pressure and takes pride in accuracy. Experience with WMS or RF scanners is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure correct parts go to customers.
• Ability to lift up to 20–25 kg and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick automotive parts and accessories using pick lists.
• Verify order accuracy - confirm each picked item matches the order by completing visual SKU & quantity checks and validating items with a handheld scanner.
• Pack items to company standards, ensuring correctly labelling, protective packaging and readiness for dispatch.
• Receive, check, and put away incoming stock in line with warehouse procedures.
• Meet daily pick rate targets in a high-volume, fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Liaise with team leaders to report stock discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Comply with WHS/OHS policies and safe manual handling practices.
• Assist with stock takes and cycle counts as required.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe workstation and surrounding area at all times.

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20–25 kg
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Automotive knowledge (bonus but not required)
• Basic computer literacy; experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or RF scanners is an advantage
• Previous pick & pack, warehousing, or logistics experience (strong advantage but not essential)
• Current forklift licence (LF/LO) advantageous but not essential
