Job summary

The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action VIC – Victoria is seeking a Project Officer for Natural Disasters and Emergency Management. You will drive project development and implement processes across the branch, coordinating with the Director and Leadership Team on strategy, governance, and response efforts.

The role supports emergency preparedness by coordinating business planning, reporting, HR, procurement, finance and logistics, and by managing priority actions and SharePoint

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in project management and prioritisation.
• Experience in administration/executive support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver support to the Director Natural Disasters and Emergency Management and leadership team on emergency strategy and governance.
• Support emergency preparedness and response across workforce capability, assets and systems.
• Coordinate projects, stakeholder engagement, and communications, including management of priority actions and SharePoint site.
