Job summary

Randstad partners with a prominent Australian Federal Government client in the disability sector to fill an APS6 Technical Advisory Coordinator contract. You will provide high-quality clinical and technical advice aligned with legislation and policy within the Technical Advisory Branch.

The role requires allied health background and about five years of experience, AHPRA registration, and strong stakeholder liaison skills; it involves sensitive funding discussions and meticulous record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Australian citizen required.
• Degree or diploma in OT, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or related Allied Health field.
• 5 years experience in disability/health sectors with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise with coaching and mentoring to advise on participant supports and maintain high-quality records.
• Liaise with stakeholders, delegates, and providers for consistent decision-making and recommendations.
• Manage sensitive funding discussions and multiple tasks with accuracy and prioritisation.
• Perform research and analysis for complex issues.
• Conduct risk management and monitor emerging issues.
