McArthur is seeking compassionate disability support workers to join a dedicated team supporting a female client with complex care needs in Christies Beach. The role involves providing in-home, 24/7 support on a rotating roster and includes personal care, nutrition support, medication administration and domestic assistance.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
• NDIS Worker check and Working with Children check
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates

• This role will ideally suit Support Workers based in and around the southern suburbs of Adelaide

Responsibilities

• Supporting our client in her own home where she receives 24 hours support from a dedicated team of support workers
• Support with personal care - hygiene, transfers, grooming, etc
• Working within a highly unwavering team of workers
• PEG for all nutritional needs and medication administration
• Communicating with the client via communication board
• Domestic assistance to maintain the clients home

We are looking for compassionate and reliable support workers to join a team to assist our professional female client that has acquired her disability.

Support workers assist the client based in Christies Beach on a rotating roster of 24/7 support. Exceptional and ongoing hours are available for those that demonstrate person centred practices and can commit to the client's long-term support needs. As a team member you will be required to be familiar with all shifts including passive overnights.

You will be responsible for providing dedicated, individualised and flexible support services to assist our client to live independently, safely, and comfortably within the community.

Your role will include:

• Proven experience in collaborating with with people living with a disability that have high complex care needs.
• An engaging person-centred approach to in home support with exceptional listening skills and a highly professional approach to support work
• Effective communication and relationship building skills
