About the role

An opportunity for Support Workers in the Barossa Area to have steady and reliable work, supporting people with a Disability living in their own homes and assisting them in the community.

Must be able and willing to provide:

  • Personal care – Showering, toileting, dressing, general hygiene, and grooming assistance.
  • Complex Care - Manual handling, mobile lifter, physio exercises, etc.
  • Domestic assistance - General tidying, meal preparation, dog on premises.
  • Community access – Transport to and from medical/therapy appointments, advocacy, social access, participation in activities that express personal interests.
  • Activities of daily living - Therapy-led activities, hobbies and interests.

About you

24/7 Roster with flexible availability across mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Experience and confidence in providing (or willing to be trained in) complex support.

An approachable personality that keeps things light and fun, while maintaining a client-centered focus.

Ability to think creatively, take ownership, and follow through with activities that benefit and positively stimulate client interests.

Own car and driver's license.

NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain).

National Police Check (or willing to obtain).

Working with Children Clearance (or willing to obtain).

Located in the Northern Adelaide and Barossa region.
