Quantum Supports is a newly registered NDIS provider delivering direct support services. You'll support participants to live full, active lives through a variety of supports, including personal care, community outings and 4WD adventures.

We value a participant-centred approach with dignity and professional boundaries. The role suits someone with disability support experience, including high intensity or complex care, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Disability Support Worker or in a related care or community services role.
• Experience in high intensity supports or complex disability support (highly regarded).
• Participant-centred approach grounded in choice, dignity and professional boundaries.
• Energy, enthusiasm and a genuine love of seeing people achieve their goals.
• Confidence working independently, communicating well with a team and using digital systems for shift notes.
• Availability for casual shifts, including some evenings and weekends.
• Clinical background such as RN/EN or other relevant clinical background highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• Keep accurate shift notes and promptly report changes in wellbeing, risks, hazards and incidents.
• Work closely with participants, families, team leaders and the wider support team.

Disability Support Workers –High Intensity & Active Community Supports

Quantum Supports is a newly registered NDIS provider delivering direct support services. You'll support participants to live full, active lives through a variety of supports. One day you might be helping with personal care and routines at home; the next you could be heading out on a 4WD trip, spending the afternoon at the beach or joining a group activity.

Key responsibilities

Support participants with daily routines, personal care, meal preparation and household tasks in line with their support plans

Deliver high intensity supports for participants with complex needs, following individual plans and training

Get out and about with participants on community access, recreation and active supports such as 4WD trips, beach outings and group activities

Encourage choice, skill-building and participation in the things that matter most to each person

Keep accurate shift notes and promptly report changes in wellbeing, risks, hazards and incidents

Work closely with participants, families, team leaders and the wider support team

About you

Experience as a Disability Support Worker or in a related care or community services role

Experience in high intensity supports or complex disability support (highly regarded)

Confidence working independently, communicating well with a team and using digital systems for shift notes

Availability for casual shifts, including some evenings and weekends

Clinical background such as Registered Nurse (RN), Enrolled Nurse (EN) or other relevant clinical background highly regarded, particularly with experience in high intensity or complex disability support, clinical governance or disability/community nursing, Supported Independent Living (SIL), complex care coordination, or service development and implementation

Current First Aid and CPR certificates

Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You certificate

Current Infection Prevention and Control certificate

Current Australian Driver Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle for work-related travel
