Job summary

Workpro is actively seeking Disability Support Workers to assist clients across Frankston, Hampton Park, Aspendale Gardens and surrounding South-East Melbourne suburbs, VIC. Flexible casual/temporary rosters and ongoing opportunities are available.

Opportunities include roles such as Disability Support Worker, Complex Care Support Worker, Behaviour Support Worker and Personal Care Support Worker, with shifts across day, afternoon, evening, overnight and weekend rosters to support 24/7 care teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' disability or complex-care experience.
• Certificate III in a related qualification (e.g. Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care).
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or state clearance.
• Current manual-handling and medication-administration certification.
• Driver license with reliable transport and appropriate vehicle insurance.
• Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred personal care and daily-living support.
• Support safe manual handling, transfers and mobility.
• Assist with medication and agreed care routines.
• Support community access, appointments and participation.
• Complete accurate progress notes and communicate with the care team.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum two years' disability or complex-care experience
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Health Care or a related qualification

• Current manual-handling and medication-administration certification

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE OR LICENCES

• ABI, TBI or behavioural-support experience
• Bowel, catheter, PEG, epilepsy or other complex-care experience
• Working With Children Check where required
• Experience working within a 24/7 home-care team

SHIFT AND AVAILABILITY Flexible monthly rosters may include day, afternoon, evening, overnight and weekend shifts within 24/7 care teams.

INDICATIVE MARKET PAY $40-$45 per hour + super; Based on live advertised rates reviewed September 2026. The actual rate will depend on the employer, award or agreement, employment type, duties, shift, penalties and overtime
