Job summary

Recovery Options is seeking enthusiastic Disability and/or Mental Health Support Workers to join our team in the Yarra Valley area. You will assist clients with personal care, household tasks, social activities and transport, with shifts ranging 2–10 hours and potential multiple clients per day.

We value a supportive, flexible work environment and strive to match skill sets and proximity to workers' homes. Relevant qualifications are preferred and training can be discussed during interviews.

Recovery Options is the Premier National Disability Insurance Scheme provider servicing the Yarra Valley and its surrounds, servicing areas in the Outer East of Melbourne such as Warburton, Launching Place, Lilydale, Chirnside Park, Bayswater, Boronia, Ringwood, Healesville, Box Hill etc

We are seeking enthusiastic & reliable Disability and or Mental health Support Workers to join our team. You will assist our clients with various needs from personal care, household tasks, social and community participation, transport, short-term accommodation, and reporting.

Shifts can range between 2 hours to 10 hours depending on the client. You may see more than one client in a day.

Ideal Experience: Previous experience in the following roles is highly regarded:

• Disability Support Worker
• Personal Care Assistant
• Community Support Worker
• Allied Health Worker
• Aged Care Worker

Mandatory:

• Current First Aid/CPR(or willingness to obtain)
• NDIS Screening Check ( or willingness to obtain)
• Working with Children’s Check (or willingness to obtain).

Other prerequisites may be required or discussed prior to the interview.

Desired but not mandatory:

Any qualifications related to Disability, Mental Health, Aged Care, Nursing, Social Work, Individual Support, Allied Health, Community Services, or Psychology. These can be certificates, diplomas, or degrees.
