Job summary

Kirinari Community Services in Wangaratta, Victoria, invites applications for Christmas Casual Disability Support Worker roles. You will engage in a strengths-based, trauma-informed model to support independence and community participation.

Qualifications

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance required.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification mandatory.
  • Valid Australian Driver Licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Right to work in Australia without restrictions.
  • Working With Children/Vulnerable Persons Check required.

Responsibilities

  • Support participants to build independence and daily living skills.
  • Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies.
  • Promote choice, control and self-determination for participants.
  • Facilitate community participation and social connection.
  • Support participants to achieve their individual goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.

CHRISTMAS CASUAL POSITIONS

We're seeking experienced Disability Support Workers who are passionate about building meaningful relationships, supporting independence, and helping participants achieve their goals.
