Job summary

BET Care Group Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Victor Harbour, SA. You will deliver high-quality supports to people living with disability, following individual plans such as health, medication and meal plans.

Support workers will operate on a 24/7 roster, with responsibilities including maintaining plans, building relationships with participants and families, and completing mandatory training.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support or equivalent.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Current Manual Handling Certificate.
• Current Assist with Medication Certificate.
• Driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
• Valid working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor client support plans.
• Deliver supports in a client-focused and person-centred manner.
• Build professional and positive relationships with participants, families and stakeholders.
• Work within the established rhythm of service for the house.
• Fulfil all compliance and mandatory training requirements.
• Work across a 24/7 roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and active night shifts (essential).
