Nextt in Port Macquarie is seeking a Disability Support Worker to assist participants with personal care, domestic tasks and daily routines. You will promote independence, encourage social participation and support community access in a respectful, person-centred manner.

Shifts run across Monday to Sunday, with availability from early morning and flexibility to align with the participant’s weekly plan. Required qualifications include NDIS checks, First Aid/CPR and a driver’s licence.

Disability Support Worker - Port Macquarie

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Disability Support Worker to support our participants in Port Macquarie.

The role involves assisting participants with personal care, domestic tasks, bowel care, daily errands and social activities while promoting independence, confidence and choice.

Shifts

Available across Monday to Sunday.

Ideally, applicants will have availability from 6:00am onwards and be flexible to support the participant's weekly routine and community activities.

About You

We are looking for Support Workers who are:

• Patient, reliable and respectful
• Positive, compassionate and person-centred
• Confident supporting community access and daily routines
• Skilled at encouraging independence and building confidence

  Certificates & Licences Required

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check - Employee
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent
  • Australian Driver's Licence and fully insured vehicle

  Pay Rates

  E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL)

  SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax):

  • Base hourly rate: $36.81
  • Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $40.49
  • Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday)$41.23
  • Saturday: $51.54
  • Sunday: $66.26
  • Public holiday: $80.99
