Job summary

CPL in Hervey Bay and surrounding areas is hiring casual and permanent part-time Support Workers. No two days are the same as you help people live independently and do things that matter to them. We welcome applicants with or without prior experience who are passionate about helping others.

You will work across a supportive, person-centred team with shifts that fit availability. Training is paid, and there are opportunities for development and progression within CPL

Qualifications

• A passion for helping others and delivering great customer service.
• Commitment to teamwork and delivering positive outcomes.
• Excellent listening and respectful communication skills.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening Check (we can assist).
• Driver's licence and/or reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to help people live independently.
• Assist with meals, cleaning and daily tasks.
• Support participation in community activities and appointments.
• Assist with mobility and use of hoists when required.
• Provide medication support and safety with clients.

We're looking for casual and permanent part-time Support Workers in Hervey Bay and surrounding suburbs to join our team. Whether you've done this before or you're new and passionate about helping others - we'd love to hear from you.

What you will be doing

No two days are the same - you'll be supporting people to live independently and do the things that matter to them.

This could include:

• Personal care (showering, dressing, toileting)
• Helping with meals, cleaning and daily tasks
• Supporting someone to get out into the community
• Attending appointments or social activities
• Medication support
• Assisting with mobility (including hoists where required)
