Job summary

Contract Care is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to assist a female NDIS participant in the Shellharbour area. The role involves community access, transportation to activities, and support for daily outings in Sydney on longer shifts.

The ideal candidate will have disability experience, ASD exposure is valued, and strong communication with a person-centered approach. A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with disability.
• ASD experience is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist with community access and social outings.
• Transport the participant to appointments, classes and activities.
• Regular transport to and from Oak Flats Train Station.
• Support during community outings such as shopping, cafes and local activities.
