Job summary

Kirinari Community Services is seeking Christmas casual Disability Support Workers to empower people with disability through therapeutic supports and person-centered care. You will build meaningful relationships, support independence, and help participants achieve goals in a community setting.

You will work within a strengths-based, trauma-informed framework, ensuring documentation is maintained and progress noted, with flexible rosters to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Availability during December 2026 and January 2027.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Current Driver Licence.
• Reliable and insured vehicle.
• Working With Children/Vulnerable Persons Check.
• Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Support participants to build independence and daily living skills.
• Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies.
• Promote choice, control and self-determination.
• Facilitate community participation and social connection.
• Support participants to achieve their individual goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
