Job summary

Angelic Care – High & Low Care Disability Support Workers is seeking experienced in-home disability support professionals. You will provide both high and low care, including personal hygiene, continence care and skin monitoring, while coordinating with in-house clinical support from a Registered Nurse.

The role focuses on delivering person-centred care to clients with neuromuscular disabilities, spinal injuries and complex wounds, with opportunities for professional development and meaningful

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role with enema insertion and digital stimulation for high care.
• Manual Handling certification and experience with hoists/transfers.
• First Aid & CPR certification.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Medication Administration Certificate.
• Valid Driver Licence and insured vehicle.
• National Police Check (police clearance).

Responsibilities

• Provide high and low care support including personal care, continence care and skin integrity monitoring.
• Clinical support for clients with neuromuscular disabilities, spinal cord injuries and complex wounds.
• Daily living tasks such as meal prep, light domestic duties, transport and social outings.
• Work within a boutique disability service delivering person-centred care.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced and confident support workers to provide both high and low care support, including:

Personal Care/Complex Skills

personal hygiene, hoisting, continence care, enema insertion, digital stimulation, and skin integrity monitoring.

Clinical Support

working with clients with neuromuscular disabilities, spinal cord injuries, acquired/traumatic brain injuries, and complex wounds.

Daily Living & Community Access

light domestic duties, meal preparation, transport, and accompanying clients on social outings.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for support workers who are kind, dependable, and confident in providing both high and low care needs.
