Job summary

Prestige Inhome Care is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to assist clients in Norlane and Lara. You will deliver person-centred care, support daily living activities and promote independence in clients' own homes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Disability Support Worker.
• Hands-on manual handling experience and training.
• Experience supporting clients with behaviours of concern.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and disability support in clients' homes.
• Assist with manual handling and use mobility equipment as needed.
• Provide domestic assistance including cleaning, laundry and meal prep.
• Support community access and transport, escorted or unescorted.
• Prepare meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for clients.
• Provide emotional support, companionship and goal-focused care.

About the Role As a Disability Support Worker, you'll empower clients to live safely and independently in their own homes by providing:

• Personal care and disability support
• Manual handling (including hoists and mobility equipment)
• Domestic assistance (cleaning, laundry and meal preparation)
• Community access and transport (escorted and unescorted)
• Meal preparation (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
• Emotional support, companionship and goal-focused care

Shifts Available

Day shifts (8:00 am – 8:00 pm), weekdays and weekends.

What You’ll Bring

We're looking for experienced support workers who have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Disability Support Worker
