Job summary

Platinum All Care in Melbourne seeks a Disability Support Worker to assist a young man in living his best life. The role is based in St Kilda, with early hours Monday to Friday and a minimum 24 hours per week.

Ideal candidates will have excellent English, strong administrative skills, and a willingness to work under supervision within a multidisciplinary team and with the client’s family.

We are a small Disability Support service for a person with complex support needs and are seeking a Support Worker to join us in St Kilda, Melbourne.

We are seeking committed, happy, energetic and professional people to join a growing team supporting a fun and active young man in living his best life.

The client needs people who are skilled or committed to be trained in Assisted Communication and ABA. Successful candidates will be fun, smart, sensible, self aware and reliable.

The working hours will be 7am-5pm Monday to Friday and at least 24 hours per week.

Key selection criteria:

MUST Live within 30 minutes travel time to St Kilda.

Skilled or committed to be trained in Assisted Communication and ABA,

Excellent verbal and written communication

Highly proficient in spoken and written English

Strong administrative and computer skills

Bachelor degree is preferable

Must be willing to work with and under supervision and instruction of a multidisciplinary professional team,

Willingness to work closely with the client's family,

Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, the values, vision and culture of the organisation

Shows initiative and thrives in a busy environment
