Job summary

Endeavour Foundation is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist people with disabilities in Hervey Bay and Maryborough. You will help clients develop daily living skills, provide personal care, and support activities from meals to community outings.

The role involves a 7-day roster and may require sleepover shifts. Candidates should have First Aid/CPR and be willing to obtain Blue Card and Yellow Card, with a valid driver’s licence.”

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care and manual handling is preferred.
• Ability to work in SIL homes with complex needs; roster includes 7 days.
• Willingness to obtain relevant checks (Blue Card, Yellow Card) and open Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to achieve NDIS goals by developing daily living skills.
• Assist with personal care where required and support with daily activities.
• Help with meal planning, cooking, light cleaning and social activities.
• Provide transport support and accompany clients to appointments or outings.
• Maintain connections with family, friends and services.
