Job summary

Resilient Life Care PTY LTD is hiring Disability Support Workers to assist NDIS and Aged Care participants across Melbourne in home and community settings. Shifts range from 2 to 8 hours, with mornings, afternoons, evenings, and some overnight sleepovers available, starting ASAP.

We offer flexible shifts, a supportive team, and opportunities to work across multiple Melbourne areas including west, north, east, bayside and south-east regions.

Qualifications

• Clear written and spoken English; ability to write detailed shift notes and incident reports.
• Reliable car with full driver's license, registration and comprehensive insurance.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
• First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificates.
• National Police Check.
• Working with Children Check (Victoria).
• Availability across mornings, afternoons, evenings and nights, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support participants with community access, appointments, shopping, meal preparation and household tasks.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Implement Positive Behaviour Support plans and report on restrictive practices where applicable.
• Write clear, accurate shift notes, behaviour charts and incident reports each shift.
• Maintain excellent written and verbal communication.
