Job summary

Life Without Barriers is seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their homes or the community, with travel between clients and short split shifts. Shifts run Monday to Sunday between 7am and 6pm, with flexibility required. No overnights.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, medication, and advocate for client choice to help them live their best life within person-centred plans.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted NSW driver’s licence and access to reliable transport.
• Willingness to work flexible hours across the week, including public holidays.
• Able to use basic technology and software on mobile/desktop.
• Current First Aid certificate HLTAID003 or HLTAID011.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to clients in homes or community settings.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Administer medication assistance and mobility support.
• Advocate for client choice and independence under person-centred plans.
