La Trobe University in Melbourne is seeking a visionary research leader to become Director of the Summer Disability Research Centre, a strategic partnership between The Summer Foundation and LTU.

The Director will lead a national program focused on housing, support and living outcomes for people with high‑support disabilities, drive funding, build a multidisciplinary team and translate findings into policy and practice.

Qualifikationen

• PhD or equivalent qualification in psychology, public health, social sciences, rehabilitation or disability studies.

Aufgaben

• Lead and guide the Summer Disability Research Centre strategy and program.
• Secure competitive and philanthropic funding to sustain research activities.
• Build and manage a multidisciplinary research team and partnerships with government, industry and community.
• Translate research findings into policy, practice and systems change.
• Foster inclusive and co-designed research with lived experience of disability.
