Job summary

QLeave, a statutory authority, seeks a Director Technology and Data to lead technology, innovation and data functions. You will provide strategic oversight of digital services, information management, cyber security, analytics and data governance as part of the Executive Leadership Team.

You will partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for innovation, strengthen digital capability, and ensure technology and data investments deliver secure, efficient and customer-focused outcomes

About the Role

As Director Technology and Data, you will lead QLeave's technology, innovation and data functions, providing strategic oversight of digital services, information management, cyber security, analytics and data governance. Reporting to the Executive Director Digital Insight and Assurance, you will lead the Information Technology and Innovation and Data and Analytics teams and play a key role in driving organisational strategy as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

Working across the organisation, you will partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for innovation, strengthen digital capability, and ensure technology and data investments deliver secure, efficient and customer-focused outcomes for QLeave and its stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead QLeave's digital and data strategy, ensuring technology and information capabilities support organisational priorities and future growth.
• Provide strategic leadership across the Information Technology and Innovation and Data and Analytics teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Partner with business leaders to deliver contemporary technology solutions, strengthen data capability and support evidence-based decision-making.
• Oversee information management, cyber security, governance and digital transformation initiatives to ensure secure, efficient and customer-focused service delivery.
• Influence organisational strategy through expert advice, stakeholder engagement and leadership of key strategic projects.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and planning skills, with the ability to support the business in refining and prioritising program commitments through stakeholder feedback and insights.
• In-depth experience and technical knowledge in business process change and/or technology application development and implementation.
• Ability to work collaboratively to develop clear and shared objectives, inspire collective ownership of outcomes, and develop the capability of others through effective mentoring, coaching and professional development of multidisciplinary teams.
