Qualifications

• Strategic leadership in cultural land management and governance.
• Budgeting, reporting and grant compliance oversight.
• Staff management and professional development.
• Engagement with state agencies and stakeholders on Indigenous affairs.
• Experience with natural resource management and Indigenous rights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a comprehensive Cultural Land Management Strategy for Taungurung Country.
• Lead strategic pilots in collaboration with CLM Programs and Biocultural Landscapes teams.
• Manage staff, budgeting, reporting and compliance for grant funding.
• Provide specialist advice with stakeholders on culturally informed NRM matters.
• Prepare briefs and submissions for executive management and partners.
• Lead policy and operational work to advance Taungurung rights in governance and planning.
• Contribute to treaty, land management and nation-building as part of the Senior Leadership team.
• Oversee the effective OHSMS with allocated resources.
