Moody's Corporation is seeking a Solutions Specialist in Australia to bridge client needs with Moody's analytics across lending, credit risk, KYC/AML and climate risk. You will lead architectural design, conduct demonstrations, and shape commercial proposals for major FI clients.
You will engage with senior stakeholders, translate technical concepts to business value, and contribute to pre-sales collateral while staying current on Moody's product suite.
At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities. We do this by striving to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, we’re advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.
The Solutions Specialist is an embedded technical and commercial resource within the FI sales team — not a back‑office engineering function. This role exists to bridge the gap between complex client problems and Moody's product capabilities, translating institutional requirements into solution designs that are commercially viable and technically sound. You will operate across the full breadth of Moody's Analytics offering, including lending technology, credit risk modelling, KYC/AML compliance, data and analytics platforms, and sustainability risk quantification. This is an executive-facing position. You will engage with C‑suite and senior leadership team — articulating how Moody's integrated platform creates measurable business value. You must be as credible in a boardroom strategy discussion as you are in a technical deep dive with a client's engineering team. The role requires someone who can co‑own pipeline generation, qualify opportunities, shape deal strategy, articulate return on investment, and contribute meaningfully to enterprise sales cycles with Australia's most significant financial institutions.
The Financial Institutions (FI) team in Australia and New Zealand operates as a consultative sales organization, covering the full spectrum of the banking sector. The team comprises high‑performing relationship managers who combine deep product knowledge with a rigorous, data‑driven approach to client engagement. Every member of the team is expected to understand how Moody's solutions map to institutional priorities — from credit origination and portfolio risk through to regulatory compliance and climate analytics.
Moody’s is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity or any other characteristic protected by law.
Candidates for Moody's Corporation may be asked to disclose securities holdings pursuant to Moody’s Policy for Securities Trading and the requirements of the position. Employment is contingent upon compliance with the Policy, including remediation of positions in those holdings as necessary.
