Job summary

Central Gippsland Health is seeking an experienced Director of Quality & Learning to join its Executive Team in Victoria. You will lead clinical governance, quality, safety and learning services, and provide high-level escalation across the portfolio.

As a key strategic leader, you will oversee a multi-disciplinary team, chair committees, prepare briefs and papers for the Executive, Board and sub-committees, and ensure alignment of plans and frameworks.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications and significant leadership experience in quality, clinical governance, safety, learning or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership over clinical governance, quality, safety and learning services.
• Oversee Unit/Team Managers and portfolio delivery.
• Chair internal and external committees and prepare briefs for Executive, Board and sub-committees.

Job description

The role provides high level escalation across the portfolio, chairs and contributes to internal and external committees, provides regular briefs and papers to Executive, Board and Board sub-committees, and ultimately operates at a strategic level across a multi-disciplinary team to bring plans and frameworks together.

Key responsibilities

• The Director Quality & Learning oversees a number of Unit/Team Managers responsible for their key portfolio areas.

• As a key strategic leader, you will provide leadership and management over clinical governance, quality, safety and risk, and learning services.
• Reports to: Chief Executive Officer.
