Job summary

New South Wales Premier's Department is seeking a Director, Organisation Development and Wellbeing to lead an integrated OD function across performance, culture and wellbeing. Based in Sydney with flexible working options, you will report to the Executive Directors of PC&T and shape the employee experience across the Premier's Department and The Cabinet Office.

About the Role

A new career opportunity has been created for a highly experienced, strategically focussed Organisational Development practitioner to work as the Director, Organisation Development and Wellbeing in the People, Culture & Talent (PC&T) branch of the People & Workforce Group.

This newly created role will lead the design and alignment of an integrated organisation development function spanning performance, culture, talent management and wellbeing. Reporting to the Executive Directors, PC&T, you will use your expertise to shape the direction and effectiveness of the employee experience through-out the employee lifecycle of both the Premier's Department and The Cabinet Office.

The Director, Organisation Development and Wellbeing role is suited to an experienced professional with a background in organisational design and/or workplace psychology who can apply theoretical frameworks to practical workplace challenges. You will lead a small team, translate priorities into forward-looking initiatives, and work with agility to respond quickly to emerging and contemporary challenges.

This opportunity is ideal for a motivated, strategic leader who understands the value of purposeful organisation development and wellbeing frameworks and can use their skills and experience to drive progress across the team and broader organisation.
