Job summary

Glenala State High School in Brisbane invites applications for a role focused on student engagement analytics and improvement. You will lead the development of tools to monitor engagement data over time, and support staff across faculties to apply evidence-based practices.

You will also drive digital pedagogy initiatives, coach AI literacy, and oversee professional learning to ensure ethical use of AI tools, enriching curriculum planning and student participation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of tools and processes to monitor, analyse and respond to student engagement data over time.
• Establish and support Engagement Advocates across faculties to build staff capability in implementing evidence-based engagement strategies and sharing effective practice.
• Support HODs and teachers to use engagement data, student feedback and walkthrough evidence to evaluate the impact of pedagogical practices and inform continuous improvement.
• Build staff capability in digital pedagogy through the effective use of digital tools, through the HITs and HIWS to enhance student engagement, accessibility, participation and self-regulated learning.
• Lead professional learning in AI literacy, supporting staff to use AI tools ethically and effectively to enhance curriculum planning, differentiation, student engagement and access to learning.
