Job summary

Zenith Executive Search is advising a leading Victoria regional health service on appointing a Site Director / Director of Nursing (SD/DON). This executive role provides strategic and operational leadership for a regional hospital campus, reporting to the General Manager Hospital Services and the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Nursing, Leadership and/or Health Management.
• Minimum five years' experience in a senior nursing leadership or executive healthcare management role.
• Demonstrated success leading large multidisciplinary teams within a complex healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality improvement, accreditation and risk management.
• Proven experience in workforce planning, organisational change and service improvement.
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across executive, clinical and community stakeholders.
• A strategic mindset with a strong commitment to innovation and patient-centred care.

The Role

This is an outstanding executive opportunity for an accomplished nursing leader to provide strategic, operational and professional leadership across a regional hospital campus.

Reporting to the General Manager Hospital Services, with a professional reporting line to the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer, you will lead the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care while driving workforce capability, operational excellence and clinical governance.
