Job summary

TAFE Gippsland invites applications for the role of Director Educational Experience. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the organisation's educational delivery and learner success portfolio across teaching, learning, student support and quality assurance.

You will shape strategy, drive innovation in pedagogy, foster learner-centred practice and build strong partnerships with industry, government and community stakeholders to keep programs relevant to Gippsland's workforce needs.

Qualifications

• Experienced executive leader with a passion for education and commitment to improving learner outcomes.
• Extensive knowledge of the Victorian vocational education and training sector, including policy, funding arrangements and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong networks across education and industry sectors with ability to build partnerships with government, industry and community stakeholders.
• Proven track record in strategic initiatives, improving organisational performance and driving meaningful change.
• Ability to build high-performing teams and foster a positive culture through authentic, collaborative leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across teaching and learning, educational quality, student support and learner engagement.
• Lead a portfolio of educational leaders, teaching teams and student success professionals to drive educational performance and continuous improvement.
• Implement the educational strategy and drive innovation in teaching and learning.
• Position the organisation for the future by building partnerships with industry, government, education partners and community stakeholders.
• Ensure an educational experience connected and contemporary for learners.
