The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Principal and forming part of the School Management Team, this is a significant leadership opportunity to shape and strengthen the School's marketing, communications and community engagement strategy.

The Director will play a key role in enhancing the School's profile, strengthening community connections and driving innovation across its marketing and engagement functions, supporting Camberwell Girls' broader educational, philanthropic, development and business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the strategic direction of marketing, communications, brand management and community engagement.
• Developing innovative marketing and communication strategies that enhance the School's profile and support future enrolments.
• Leading and developing a high-performing, multidisciplinary team.
• Strengthening relationships with parents, alumni and the wider school community.
• Overseeing digital marketing, publications, media relations and key communication channels.

About You

We are seeking an accomplished marketing and communications leader who brings strategic thinking, creativity and a genuine commitment to building strong community relationships.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Proven experience leading marketing, communications and engagement strategies.
• Strong brand management, digital marketing and communication capabilities.
• Exceptional writing, copywriting and content development skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling communications for a range of audiences.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, relationship-building and communication skills.
• A collaborative, proactive leadership style and the ability to translate strategy into meaningful outcomes.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business or a related discipline.

Experience within an educational environment will be highly regarded, although applications from experienced leaders across other sectors are warmly welcomed.
