Job summary

Mission Critical Recruitment seeks a Director of Electrical Infrastructure to lead APAC data centre facilities from Sydney or Singapore. You will manage a portfolio across HV/MV/LV systems, driving design, operations, commissioning and handover with a focus on reliability and cost efficiency.

You will lead a 7-person team, perform rigorous root-cause analysis, oversee vendor selection, and set operational strategies to ensure best-in-class delivery for on-site facilities teams across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex, power-heavy environments, preferably large-scale data centres.
• Electrical Engineering Degree required.
• Strong understanding of HV/MV/LV electrical infrastructure.
• Experience across maintenance, facilities, commissioning and design.
• Willing to travel across APAC (around 20%).

Location: Sydney or Singapore Salary: Circa $250k + super + bonus

Overview

Mission Critical Recruitment are seeking an electrical technical specialist to oversee a portfolio of data centre facilities across APAC

Leading a team of 7 across the region, your team will be the lynchpin between design, operations, commissioning and construction of hyperscale data centres.

Being a key part of design reviews, you'll assess existing operations holistically from an electrical perspective, running root cause analysis across any areas of concern. You'll be on top of product and vendor selection, analysing maintenance requirements, setting operational strategies and ensuring best in class design and delivery makes life as easy as possible for onsite FM and Operational teams.

Key Requirements

Extensive experience in complex and power heavy environments with a strong preference for largescale data centre experience Electrical Engineering Degree Strong holistic understanding of electrical infrastructure across HV/MV/LV Any combination of maintenance, facilities, commissioning and design experience Strong understanding of operational processes for critical electrical infrastructure Willing and able to travel across APAC (around 20%) Leadership skills essential, including the ability to manage remotely This is a unique and high profile role within the data centre industry.
