KU Children's Services – Newport Beach NSW
Since 1895, KU has been and proudly remains a not-for-profit organisation. KU is our place, where we all belong: a safe, calm community of children, families and educators.
Located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, close to Newport Beach, KU Newport Preschool provides a rich and engaging learning environment with a strong focus on sustainability, community connection and learning through play.
The preschool offers an indoor/outdoor program where children are free to move between environments, giving them extended opportunities to build on their interests through play. Our connection with the local community is also reflected through our out-the-gate program, which incorporates the beach and surrounding community into children’s learning experiences.
KU Newport is proud of its strong reputation within the local community and its family-focused approach to providing high-quality education and care that recognises each child as an individual.
Commencing in late January 2027, we are seeking an experienced and ECT qualified Director to lead KU Newport Preschool on a full time, 12-month maximum term contract.
KU Newport is a busy preschool with a relaxed atmosphere, where children have the freedom to move between indoor and outdoor environments throughout the day. You will lead a small and efficient team, supporting high-quality pedagogy and practice while maintaining the strong relationships the service has with children, families and the local community.
You will bring confident leadership, sound pedagogical knowledge and experience supporting service operations, mentoring educators and continuous improvement.
